Fun Guys!

Fun Guys! is a personal series that I've been creating to exercise my brain a bit creatively. Each character, with many more to come, will begin with similar, simple shapes and forms and will come packed with their own identities and environments. Their conception was heavily inspired by a collection of nutcrackers that I have been getting each Christmas from Santa. Check back often for the next Fun Guy! in the series!

As a designer and in life in general, I am fascinated by all there is to learn. With so many different things going on in this vast world that we live in, every day, it can be overwhelming and bewildering to keep up with it all. But the way that I see it, you have to find the things that interest you and keep up with them. Fortunately for me, I have found a glitch in the matrix of the typical humdrum workday of corporate America. That glitch being that as a designer, not only do I get to draw, conceptualize and design, but I also get to work with clients from a wide range of industries, which means I have a lot of research to do to find the best solutions to their design problems. What could be a better career than one that requires me to use my skills of critical thinking, my love of learning, paired with my creativity and people person skills?
