Logos & Word Marks

The above marks are a variety of explorations and experimentations in Logo and Word Marks.

The Riverside Title Company logo was a freelance project designed for a title company located in Kingston, TN. The arrows double as houses, and all point to the center, representing the company's dedication to the customer as the top priority.

The logo for Xpress Kadets was a project that I created during an Advanced Typography course, and the goal of the project was to combine two letters into one, while still being able to recognize both letters. I chose x and k. Xpress Kadets was then created after the mark was finished, and is a fictitious delivery company who would be a competitor to FedEx & UPS.

Monocle Clock Makers uses a logo which was created so that each letter of the word "Monocle" directly relates to the letters adjacent to it. This logo was also created during my Advanced Typography course.

As a designer and in life in general, I am fascinated by all there is to learn. With so many different things going on in this vast world that we live in, every day, it can be overwhelming and bewildering to keep up with it all. But the way that I see it, you have to find the things that interest you and keep up with them. Fortunately for me, I have found a glitch in the matrix of the typical humdrum workday of corporate America. That glitch being that as a designer, not only do I get to draw, conceptualize and design, but I also get to work with clients from a wide range of industries, which means I have a lot of research to do to find the best solutions to their design problems. What could be a better career than one that requires me to use my skills of critical thinking, my love of learning, paired with my creativity and people person skills?
